Ingredients:
- Ground Meat (Beef or Bison works best)
- Burrito-Sized Tortillas
- Cheese (Cheddar, Pepper Jack, and Swiss)
- White Onions
- Mushrooms (Baby Bella)
Prep Steps (These you can do before turning on any heat source so everything cooks evenly)
- Slice mushrooms
- Slice onions
- Grate a lot of cheese
Step 1
Add the ground meat into a bowl, then add your favorite seasonings. Thoroughly mix together until seasonings are evenly distributed.
Step 2
To form the burgers, take a small handful of the mixed ground meat, roll into a ball and begin to flatten. Be sure to flatten while maintaining the desired burger shape. Add formed burgers to a sheet of wax paper to prevent them from sticking together.
Step 3
Now that your burgers are ready, add some grated cheese to a hot pan. Let it boil and turn liquid. Once the bottom is crispy, flip over and let the other side cook. Set aside on paper towel to soak up grease.
Step 4
Add mushrooms and onions to the pan. Let it cook until onions are golden brown. Set aside when done.
Step 5
Cook patty until done. Flatten more to ensure it cooks evenly.
Step 6
Now to assemble the crunch wrap! Add some more cheese to the tortilla and microwave for 30 seconds to melt the cheese and soften the tortilla. In order, add burger sauce of choice, mushroom and onion mix, patty, and fried cheese. Assemble as a crunch wrap by folding the sides evenly towards the center.
Step 7
